Armadis les vignerons du gerland - gers (32)

The origine

In 1972, BERNARD DE CHASTENET, MARQUIS DE PUYSEGUR, who was at the time without descendants, entrusted MICHEL CAMUS with the marketing of the name and title of MARQUIS DE PUYSEGUR.

JACQUES DE CHASTENET DE PUYSEGUR (1600-1682), was born in the shadows of the towers of PUYSEGUR, overlooking the left bank of the Gers between Auch and Fleurance. He was a Marshall of France and Adviser to the KING, Louis XIII, and father of Maréchal de Puysegur (1656-1743), Knight of the Order of the King and of SAINT-LOUIS.

It needed a very exceptional ARMAGNAC to bear the name of such prestigious ancestors.

The armorials

The armorial bearings which compose the shield of the DE PUYSEGUR family reflect their devotion to the crown of the Kings of France.

The two unicorns supporting the crown, symbol of loyalty.

On the shield a lion spitting out fire, emblem of Gascony, the land of Armagnac.
