Terre de gascogne
For centuries, Gascony has been home to passionate men and women and vineyards full of character, pleasure and know–how.
To develop this exceptional terroir and the smoothness of its wines, Jean Cavé, the worthy heir to a line of Gascon bons viveurs, set about marketing them. In 1883 he founded the Cavé firm in the heart of the prestigious ‘‘Lower-Armagnac’’ vineyard.
Today, Cavé wines, marketed by Armadis, continue to be the result of a selection of the year’s best grapes, combined with the most modern wine-making techniques, and are worthy of the heritage handed down from generation to generation with love, pleasure and passion.
The blood of Gascony is above all Gros-Manseng, a white, unique and typically Gascon vine.
God knows why it only grows there!! A characteristic trait and the true pride of Gascony, making it both rare and precious.
The basis of structured white wines, rich in citrus and apricot aromas, light and full of vivacity, Gros-Manseng is the basis of Cavé wines. The range is complemented by a red merlot wine, appreciable for its fullness and bouquet.
With this range, Cavé wishes to offer everyone the pleasure of tasting the jewels of Gascon heritage.
